From 27 November 2017: The Toulouse Metropolitan area has an emergency low emission zone scheme during high pollution events. It is not decided yet what the measure will look like. But most likely some vehicles will be banned after a certain amount of days with smog alarm. The Crit'Air sticker is necessary to be allowed to circulate during smog alarm. Manual by police Yes. There is a national law, based on the classifications of vehicles shown in the table below. Low emission zone stickers are mandatory for French vehicles and cost 3,70€ plus an additional cost for postage (0,48€). For vehicles registered in France, the French LEZ stickers can be bought here. Foreigners can buy their stickers here.
