Since 1 November 2016 Cuneo has ZTL active that regulates the access to the historic center. There is also a low emission zone in Cuneo in place.
During certain times no vehicles are allowed to enter the ZTL.

The ZTL is active daily from 20:30 - 07:00 and in Via Roma permanently no access allowed (00:00 - 24:00).
There is currently no Italian national scheme, but regional as well as individual city schemes.
However, there is a mobile phone app that can tell you when you are about to drive into a camera enforced ZTL.
The following can get a permit to enter the ZTL:
- property owner
- garages and car parks
- market supplier
- privat security
These can only apply for a permit after they have been in the ZTL:
- people accompanying handicappe
- medical personel
- home delivery of goods
Loading and unloading is allowed in Via Roma Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 07:00 - 10:30.
In the rest of the ZTL from 07:00 - 20:30 without permit.
