The Emissions Analytics EQUA Air Quality Index allows you to identify the vehicle with the lowest fuel use, carbon dioxide (CO2) or nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions in actual road conditions.

You can find real-world fuel use in miles per gallon, or emissions of 3 pollutants on a scale from A (best) to H (worst), in terms of meeting the homologation emissions on the road or not. Remember, while often diesel has lower fuel use, it emits 18% more CO2 per litre fuel used, so fuel and CO2 figures can diverge. Over 1000 vehicles have been tested so far, and more are continually being added.

The headings are given in the picture below, and the results are given for each vehicle model.
