The UK Government published a legal framework for low emission zones (LEZs) last Friday.

The draft law had a list of 6 cities that would have to implement LEZs. The current law leaves the decision on low emission zones to city authorities. However, it is likely to result in more low emission zones than the 6 listed in the draft law.

Our website will, as always, let you know when cities confirm their intention to implement low emission zones.

Currently there is a low emission zone in London that affects, or will affect, all vehicles, and LEZs in BrightonNorwichNottingham and Oxford that affect local buses only.
