On Thursday 22nd June, there is an emergency air quality scheme in Paris.

Vehicles must be at least Crit'Air 0 to 3 to move in Paris, within the A86 (super-périphérique).

There is a "daily anti-pollution package" public transport ticket, costing € 3.80 for 22 June. It allows the use of all public transport in Paris.

There are also:

  • free Vélib 'services
  • free residential parking (the parking permit is extended by the number of days of the alert) and
  • under certain conditions, free Autolib'.

Paris asks people to:

  • Delay travelling into central Paris,
  • To use carpooling, cycling, walking and public transport
  • And avoid using solvent-based products

On Wednesday 21st June and Thursday 22nd June:

  • the speed limit reduces to 20 km / h
  • vehicles >3.5 tonnes should to avoid Paris.

The restriction finished at midnight of the 22nd June.
