The low emission zone in Amsterdam now also affects cars.

Since 1st November 2020 diesel cars have also been affected by Amsterdam's low emission zone. They have to meet at least a Euro 4 standard to be allowed to circulate in the LEZ Amsterdam. 

All Dutch low emission zone cities affect lorries, with a national scheme of Euro 4 standard.
Some cities have had low emission zones affecting smaller vehicles. The light duty schemes are being revised following a national framework during 2020, and the lorry schemes are being tightened.
