Milan: Area C and paying for parking suspended

In compliance with the provisions aimed at containing the Coronavirus, the Municipality of Milan has suspended the Area C. Also suspended is the paying for parking throughout the city in the blue and yellow striped parking spots. These measures have been in place since 5 November 2020 until further notice.

Area C is an area in the historic center of Milan with access restrictions for some types of vehicles. It coincides with the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) Cerchia dei Bastioni and is bordered by 43 gates with cameras, 7 of which are for the exclusive use of public transport.

Area C is usually active on weekdays at the following times:

    • Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 19:30
