Grenoble bans Euro 5 lorries

Greater Grenoble tightened its low emission zone in July 2022.

The low emission zone is part of an objective to improve air quality, a public health issue: air quality has been improving in Grenoble for ten years, but the situation remains problematic, especially in the city center and along the major traffic arteries, hence the need to act on this perimeter, by limiting the circulation of the most polluting vehicles.
Since 1 July 2022 only vehicles with a Crit'Air sticker 2 are allowed to circulate in the Greater Grenoble metropole region.
