The Montpellier Mediterranée Metropole has implemented a ZFE in July 2022.

From 1 July 2022 the minimum standard is:
for cars: Crit'Air sticker 5
and for motorbikes, HGV and LGV o Crit'Air sticker 4.

There is a transitional phase during which no fines are given until 31 December 2022.
These communes are affected by the LEZ:

• Clapiers
• Grabels
• Jacou
• Juvignac
• Lattes
• Le Crès
• Montpellier
• Pérols
• Saint Jean de Védas
• Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone
