Warsaw and Cracow will implement a LEZ in July 2024.

These zones are called Clean Transport Zone (SCT) and are a separate area where only vehicles that meet the relevant emission standards can move. All vehicles can enter the zones, regardless of the type of drive – including petrol, diesel, hybrids or with LPG installations – provided that they meet a specific engine exhaust emission standard. There are exemptions for e.g. vehicles used by handicapped people or historic vehicles.
