There will be a winter low emission zone in place from 1 December 2023.

The scheme is active every year from 1 December to 28 February of the following.
The zones are selected in such a way as to achieve a reduction in harmful emissions from transport in the designated neighborhoods, but at the same time citizens have alternative routes with sufficient capacity to be used by them. The inclusion of the central parts of the city, within the low-emission zones, "breaks" the most direct car connection between the western and eastern districts of the city, thus reducing the attractiveness of this type of transport (the private car).
