From 1 January 2028 an environmental sticker C will be required.

After months of uncertainty, the news is confirmed: cars with a B sticker will say goodbye to Barcelona from 2028 onwards.

The Catalan government, led by Salvador Illa, has given the green light to the controversial decree that will prohibit the circulation of vehicles with a B (yellow) sticker in the Low Emission Zones (LEZ) of municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants from January 1, 2028.
