All Spanish cities with more than 50.000 inhabitants need to implement a LEZ by 2025.

By now there are already 33 low emission zones, called zonas de bajas emisiones in Spanish, either in place or just about to be implemented in the next months.
Only vehicles meeting the required standard can enter the cities without being fined.
