Strasbourg's LEZ tightens to Crit'Air sticker 3 only in January 2027, delaying the previous plans.
The ZFE-m concerns all types of motorized vehicles: passenger cars, light utility vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, buses and coaches, motorized two- and three-wheelers.
It is therefore aimed at both individuals and socio-economic players in the area. It will apply continuously, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
Drivers who do not respect the prohibitions relating to the ZFE-m, or who do not have their Crit'Air sticker affixed to their windshield, are liable to a fine in accordance with the regulations in force.
From January 2026 a reminder of the upcoming regulations and information on the project will be given. These checks will be carried out initially by the national police and municipal police.
In a second stage, from January 2027 the check will be carried out by automated sanction check via reading of registration plates.
