Granada will start a ZBE - zona de bajas emisiones (Low Emission Zone) 1 April 2025.

There are more cities with a low emission zone in place in Spain. The standards they require vary.

Alcobendas, Avila, Benidorm, Burgos, Chiclana de la Frontera, Dos Hermanas, Lleida, Majadahonda, Molina de Segura, Mostoles, Palma de Mallorca, Parla, Sabadell, San Sebastian, Segovia, Torrelavega, Valladolid and Vigo.

Only vehicles meeting the required standard can enter the cities without being fined.
