Cologne and Bonn have to implement a diesel driving ban for older diesel vehicles decided the Cologne administrative court.

In Cologne the entire city center is affected, in Bonn only two streets.

From April 2019 minimum standard is diesel Euro 5 and petrol Euro 3.

From September 2019 minimum standard is diesel Euro 6.
