2018 was the first year that Stuttgart met the PM₁₀ Limit Values.

Brussels tightens diesel standard from 1 Jan 2019 Brussels (Bruxelles) from 1 January 2019.

From 1 January 2019, a traffic ban will apply in Stuttgart for all vehicles with diesel engines of the Euro 4 / IV emissions standard and worse.

During high pollution events in Barcelona, motorcycles and mopeds also have to meet the minimum standard Euro 2 from 1 December 2018 on.
