The emergency low emission zone in the metropole region of Lille will be activated in case the NOx level is higher than 80µg/m³. The prefect then decides which vehicles are banned. This will most likely be vehicles with 'Crit'Air' sticker 5 and possibly 4.

There are stickers called "air quality certificates" (Certificats qualité de I’air) which are mandatory for French and foreign vehicles.

Stickers for foreign vehicles can be bought in English, French, German or Spanish. These stickers can be bought by those outside France. Please allow enough time for delivery.
In times of high pollution events certain vehicles won't be allowed to circulate.
