Introduction
The Access Regulation (ZTL) of Trieste is divided in two areas:
ZTL A and B

Dates and details
In the ZTL A no access for vehicles at all.
In ZTL B no access allowed Monday - Saturday from 00:00 - 24:00.

All vehicles, except bicycles and motorbikes.

Electric Vehicles
The cities in Emilia Romagna region have a mutual agreement on electric vehicles entering the ZTLs of this region. You need to be a resident in Emilia Romagna and get registered. Then you will receive a sticker called 'Auto Amica Ambiente' (AAA) sticker. This sticker needs to put behind the windshield in order to be allowed to enter the ZTL. Each city has slightly different regulations concerning where to go in the ZTL and where to park. But they all agree that electric vehicles enter the ZTL for free.
