Denmark is tightening its Low Emission Zones

Since 1st October 2023 diesel cars have to be at least Euro 5.

The tightened standard affects all M1 vehicles that have been registered before January 2011.
Denmark has four low emission zones in place: Aarhus, Aalborg, Kopenhagen and Odense.
If your vehicle is retrofitted you need to get registered. If you fail to register your vehicle, along with the appropriate documentation, you will risk a fine of DKK 1.000.
